Recent concerts: LAS accompanied Judy Collins during her concert at the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center gala on September 10; Collins said appreciatively, “I love the Livermore-Amador Symphony!” The LAS Youth Orchestra presented its 2016 performance on August 6; see the 2016 LASYO concert program. Hear the May concert prelude talk by Lara Webber with soprano soloist Heidi Moss (50.2MB mp3). Read the program from the May 21 concert.

LAS on YouTube: LAS now has a YouTube channel, thanks to Kathy Boster. The videos posted currently include one filmed and produced by Jacqueline McBride; it features Music Director Lara Webber speaking about LAS performances at several Livermore elementary school assemblies last November.

String players needed: Our community-based orchestra has given much pleasure to audiences and players alike for many years. It has provided volunteer players of varying ages and abilities with the chance to learn new skills and to enjoy playing with a congenial group. We are always interested in finding new players, particularly those in the string section. Join the orchestra.
Orchestra members: See details on the rehearsals page. (For some restricted info which was updated 5/23/16, click here.)
