Next concert: Join the symphony and guest conductor Matilda Hofman (photo at right) at Transfigurations on April 8. The evening will include the Rosamunde overture — quintessential Schubert that involves the transformation of a poor shepherdess into a queen — plus Strauss’s early tone poem Death and Transfiguration, Wagner’s ethereal prelude to Lohengrin, and Tchaikovsky’s hauntingly beautiful Swan Lake.
Fiddle Club: The Fiddle Club program for 2017 is underway: a group of 4th graders are starting to become violin players. Learn more on our Youth Outreach page.
